Denise

Her work focuses on three areas of compliance:

Fair
Lending Compliance
– Responsible for managing key parts of client projects
related to self-testing and regulatory interpretation, and
provides training and training materials.

Brokerage and Investing Compliance
– Responsible for conducting branch inspections at
bank-affiliated brokerage offices and other investment
related consulting assignments. In addition, Denise
provides clients with current updates on deposit and
investment regulations as promulgated by the various
governmental agencies.

– Responsible for projects on a wide range of compliance
topics, encompassing client assignments concerning fees and
disclosures, privacy, anti-money laundering, licensing, and
deposit regulations. |
prior experience
Prior to
joining ADI, Denise was an Associate Attorney with the firm
Shipman and Goodman, LLP. There she performed due diligence
work in connection with mergers and acquisitions, assisted
attorneys in both the Corporate Law and Litigation Departments,
and conducted legal research and prepared memoranda to partners,
senior attorneys and clients on a myriad of issues related to
general business matters, banking, securities offerings and
labor and employment affairs.
Denise was
also a legal intern with the Office of the Comptroller of the
Currency. She conducted extensive legal research on various
laws and regulations concerning national banks, advised senior
attorneys on consumer protection issues, drafted legal
memoranda, and carried out special projects as requested.
Denise was
also an assistant branch manager at a bank in Massachusetts
where her duties included managing daily operations including the
supervision of tellers and customer service representatives and
cash settlement. She was also responsible for increasing the
volume of new accounts, reconciling account discrepancies and
resolving customer complaints.

Denise has a Juris Doctor degree from the
Howard University School of Law and a Bachelor or Arts degree in
Legal Studies from the University of
Massachusetts.
